Dr John Shneerson, Director of the Sleep Clinic at Papworth Hospital, Cambridgeshire

Dr John Shneerson

Dr John Shneerson is the director of the largest sleep centre in the UK. At Papworth, they deal with disorders that cause excessive sleepiness during the day and abnormal behaviours during sleep.

Dr Shneerson is the author of three medical text books and over 200 articles on sleep medicine.

 

 

Dr Adrian Williams, Director of Sleep Services at London St Thomas’ Sleep Centre

Dr Adrian Williams

Dr Adrian Williams, director of St Thomas’s Hospital Sleep Disorders Centre, is a renowned sleep expert. His career has encompassed all aspects of sleep medicine including research into sleep and its associated illnesses.

Dr Williams treats a wide variety of sleep complaints including narcolepsy and movement disorders. He is also the author of an extensive number of papers on sleep disorders including more than 120 peer reviewed original scientific papers and more than 50 other published papers including chapters and books.
 

Dr Paul Reading, Consultant Neurologist, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough

Dr Paul Reading

Dr Paul Reading is currently a consultant neurologist with a special interest in sleep medicine at the James Cook University Hospital. His particular interests are narcolepsy, abnormal sleep in neurodegenerative disease and parasomnias. Dr Reading has been running a weekly Neurology Sleep Clinic for 7 years, attracting referrals from the Northern region and beyond.

Dr Reading is currently involved in establishing a multi-disciplinary Sleep Centre in Middlesbrough that will be able to investigate, manage and research the whole gamut of sleep disorders.
