Travel
- If uncertain, check with your clinician prior to travelling that you are fit to travel
- Make sure you have enough medication to last you until you return
- If possible, inform those who you are travelling with about your condition
- If travelling by train, for example, ask the guard or a nearby passenger to wake you up at your stop
- If you are taking a controlled drug such as amphetamine, a clearly worded letter from your doctor is advisable to take abroad in case of problems at customs control. There are some countries where there may be excessive risks even with appropriate documentation and expert advice may be necessary
